"Stubby" is a very accurate replica of our favorite 1945 Bob Dukoff short-body tenor saxophone mouthpiece, a contemporary of Otto Link. Played by Bob Berg, Stanley Turrentine, Steve Grossman and Bob Sheppard even played on his Dukoff Stubby for 20 years in Freddie Hubbard's Band and with Herbie Hancock (to mention a few). "Stubby" has a huge, classic sound that's tempered, focused and keeps this lush, rich, smooth sound throughout the whole range.
