"UK Special" is a replica of a very specific model with a short run from the 50s played by pros like Sam Butera, Junior Walker, King Curtis, Sonny Rollins, Lenny Pickett, Charlie Ventura, Coleman Hawkins, Booker Ervin, Babe Russin, Roland Kirk, Pete Christleib, Yusef Lateef, and a host of others who wanted that punchy, robust and penetrating sound. This vintage Berg was the fattest and best playing model from our own collection from over a decade of other lack luster Berg Larsen designs.
